Ukraine War Day #145: Zelensky Surrounded By Traitors And Spies

Dear Readers:

The big news coming out of the Ukraine this past weekend: Zelensky has fired his Prosecutor-General Irina Venediktova, and also the head of the SBU (Security Agency, successor to Soviet KGB), a man named Ivan Bakanov. Both of whom used to be tight members of Zelensky’s inner circle, especially the latter. Bakanov’s dismissal is especially poignant since he and Zel go way back: They were childhood pals, lived in the same apartment block, went to the same school, attended the same university, were probably even roommates. In 2013 the two pals worked together on Zelensky’s comedy troupe Kvartal-95. Always side by side, Bakanov joined Zelensky’s political party Servant of the People, and headed his election HQ. In 2019 Zel placed his old friend in the crucial position as SBU head and promoted him to the title of Lieutenant, even though he had no military experience.

Ivan Bakanov

Bakanov’s wife, Oksana Lazarenko, is a citizen of the Russian Federation, which has raised a few eyebrows. The couple have two sons. Just like Zelensky’s family, they have become very rich over the years and stashed a lot of lucrative assets in Cyprus offshores. [Evil tongues claim that the main starting capital for Zel and his clique stems from the patronage of the oligarch Kolomoisky. Zelensky’s show business career made him a millionaire, but Kolomoisky made him a billionare. Then, of course, after taking the reins of power, Zelensky could start dipping his snout into the public trough, as every Ukrainian leader ever has done.]

Although it does not appear that Venediktova/Bakanov have been arrested, they are maybe just a hair away from that. Zelensky is accusing their respective agencies of being “riddled with spies and traitors”. (Which is probably true.) In which case, their crimes would be more like negligence, or turning a blind eye to all the shenanigans; as opposed to being traitors themselves.

Zelensky: “I took the decision to dismiss the General Prosecutor and the Head of the SBU. There are currently registered 651 criminal cases involving treason and collaborationist activity of functionaries within the organs of the Prosecutor and criminal justice system.” Moreover, “More than 60 functionaries of the SBU organs have remained on occupied territory and work against our government. Such a massive number of crimes against the very foundations of our state security; not to mention the known communications between the structures of the Ukrainian security forces and the special services of Russia, raise very serious questions to the respective managers [i.e., Venediktova and Bakanov].”

Bakanov and Venediktova: disgraced

I love the way Zel just casually tossed that out, about Ukie security forces routinely chatting with Russian military intelligence. Russophile blogosphere having a field day, natch! Maria Zakharova trolled Zelensky on Twitter, calling these dismissals “effective de-Nazification” on Zelensky’s part. Other bloggers have compared Zelensky to Stalin, in his paranoia starting to turn against his inner circle. However, to me it doesn’t even seem like paranoia, I think these Ukrainian agencies probably are riddled with Russian spies. Ukrainian government officials are so corrupt, they would do literally anything for money. The friendship between Zelensky and Bakanov may be a sweet one, but it’s also one based on money and shared criminality, all the loot they stashed away on Cyprus together. At what point does a group of friends turn into a criminal gang? And once that happens, how easy does it become to betray one another? Especially after friends get married to other people and raise families, and then the families become more important than the friendship. The Yoko Ono factor.

Slavyansk: Наш последний и решительный бой!

Of course, the other factor, the elephant in the room, is the series of military defeats; and somebody needs to be blamed for that. Ukrainian ex-politician and dissident Oleg Tsarev opines that Zelensky needs a fall-guy to explain the loss of Kherson Oblast; and Bakanov is just the guy.

Also given that another major defeat looms in the not-too-distant future: Slavyansk-Kramatorsk. Even talking puppets on Westie MSM are now starting to say, “when Slavyansk falls…” and not “if Slavyansk falls…”

Rogov: His spies told him some juicy gossip.

I have this piece of juicy gossip from reporter Olga Ivanova. Who is reporting some plausible hear-say from a man we have met in previous posts, namely Vladimir Rogov, who heads the pro-Russian slice of Zaporozhie Oblast. Rogov: “I have acquired some information, according to which: At a session of the [Ukrainian] Soviet on National Security and Defense, they were discussing, in Zelensky’s presence, a certain critical situation. According to which, they received an ultimatum from their British and American curators. According to which, if they were to lose Slavyansk, then the money would be cut off, for the military financing of the regime.” Rogov obviously referring to Ukraine’s incessant demands for $9 billion dollars a month from the West (and the number keeps going up). Gimme, gimme, gimme $$$$! (Okay, son, but if you lose Slavyansk, I cut off your allowance, capish?)

Rogov made this declaration during a radio interview for Komsomolskaya Pravda. I don’t know whether he was well out of line, because he might just have compromised a Russian asset, assuming there was a spy in that meeting of Zelensky’s cabinet.

Like I said, it’s just unconfirmed hearsay. But fits in neatly with Zelensky’s hypothesis that his security agencies are riddled with spies. [It’s also possible the Russians could have just bugged the room they were meeting in, as opposed to having a human spy there.]

American Officers Got Calibrated?

And last but not least, adding one more Lego block to this theory (of rampant spies), we have the July 14 Russian rocket attack on the Aviation Officers Club in the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia. This city is well in the Western part of the Ukraine, but Russians have proved before that their Kalibr cruise missiles, especially when launched from Black Sea submarines, can reach any square meter of land in any part of the Ukraine.

They can do it, but usually don’t. This attack was special, and also very sad, because apparently many civilians, including children, were also killed or hurt, as collateral damage. But the legitimate military target was a building set right in the middle of town, which served as a clubhouse for officers of Ukrainian aviation. Like many such clubs, it also served as a social center for the community, where one might attend a banquet or concert, etc. But on this particular day, or so it is alleged, the Russians got word [from still more spies?] that some very special guests would be present. It is even rumored that some of the guests [and obviously among the calibrated] were American Generals. Possibly even there to pedal more HIMARS to their Ukrainian proteges. And that the rocket attack was Russia’s way of saying “Fuck you America!” and getting even for those HIMARS attacks on Donbass and Kherson civilians.

The main point being, though, that Zelensky is probably within his rights to feel paranoid and always looking over his shoulder. How else could the Russians have known about the important meeting in the Officers Club? And what else do they know? And where else could they strike at any time?

Not to get too Byzantine here, but I’m curious in what degree it’s Ze firing these guys vs. the Ukraine’s western masters ensuring that the inner circle belongs to them rather than to Ze – after all, one of them was from Ze’s TV studio days.
Now, of course, the operations of Ze’s inner circle are super-opaque, and I’ll bet there’s a plethora of factions, both domestic and foreign, all looking to advance their own particular agenda, and insert their guys (or gals)
I wonder if Ze isn’t in a similar situation the Japanese Emperor of the Shogunate – effectively a prisoner in his own palace. Just a thought.

When it comes to the Ukraine, there is no such thing as being too Byzantine! Actually, I have been scouring the Russian press all morning, because this is such a juicy story, and there are so many twists. (I happen to have the day off from work today, so it turned out to be quite convenient for a fullsome news day.)
Anyhow, I have seen some Russian bloggers/analysts who made exactly the same point that you did; namely, that all of this may well be coming from the Westie curators. It’s just a theory, but it makes sense. Zelensky may be a clown, but he is not a monster, I don’t think he would fire his best friend unless he was told to.

(Which, by the way, is clarified, is not a “firing” per se, but just a “suspension”, until the investigation is complete. But both people have been locked out of their offices and their accounts shut down, presumably to prevent them from shredding the evidence or deleting their files.)

Normally the American curators might let Zel keep his friends, just to keep him happy. But there is some very serious money here, I think the tipping point was the (alleged) theft and sale selling of one of the HIMARS to the Russians. I read that the Americans have a very tough attitude when it comes to that level of corruption, one blogger says they are going to put Ukraine government under the same kind of receivership as they do with Romania. I didn’t even know they did that with Romania, but that’s what people are saying. For what it’s worth.

Is there any difference between Ze and his western masters? I don’t see a useful purpose in making any distinction.

Vinnytsia. The west goes quiet 48 hours after each “atrocity”. Just as soon as they can no longer just quote Kiev and once it is clear than a journalist on a bicycle has had time to pop in from Kiev and actually investigate and take a few photos of their own.
But on Vinnytsia they went very quiet very quickly. Doubly surprising as there do genuinely appear to be some innocent victims.
Russia is making huge claims (if unreported in west) of killing large amounts of officers and soliders and mercs. If a quarter of this is true (I expect three quarters is true) then there is a great deal of covering up going on right now.

On traitors in Kiev – it it the honorable duty of every senior intelligence officer and military officer to open up back channels with Russia right now. Not so much to betray Zelensky as because Zelensky is betraying his people by not crawling on his knees to Russia right now and saving tens of thousands of Ukrainians. Sadly he is still a US puppet. Someone needs to cut those strings immediately.

Yeah, as soon as the Vinnytsia thing went down, I sensed a change in the Force. American media suddenly went quiet. There must have been some American bigwigs in that club, and it’s not like they could be openly mourned.

  3. Speaking of attempts to open up “back channels”, I suggest reading these articles on theyfly blog:

“A Plea from Ukrainian Officials to Stop NAZI Zelensky”

“Danger to Peace Lovers in Zelensky’s Inner Circle”

Note the dates they were published. Then there is the information pertaining to the coming Russian attacks on Scandinavia – as well as the US – published…35 years ago:

So, lemme get this straight: Billy is in contact with dead people via UFO aliens, and some ghost named Brunhilde told him that Zelensky is a Nazi?
Well, I mean, she is not wrong, but Billy’s big revelation is dated 2 months ago, so that’s not exactly a prophecy! I would respect Brunhilde more if she could tell me the exact date and time when Slavyansk falls.

      • Not exactly but now that you’ve asked, please see a smattering of what was – verifiably – first published in German in 1987 and in English by 2004:

        217. Far in the West, it will be different; the United States of America will be a country of total destruction.

        218. The cause for this will be manifold.

        219. With its global conflicts which are continuously instigated by it and which will continue far into the future, America is creating enormous hatred against itself, worldwide, in many countries.

        220. As a result, America will experience enormous catastrophes which will reach proportions barely imaginable to people of Earth.

        221. The destruction of the WTC, i.e., the World Trade Center, by terrorists will only be the beginning.

        248. Yet Russia will not rest and will attack Scandinavia, and in doing so will embroil all of Europe. And months before that, a terrible tornado will have swept across northern Europe, causing great devastation and destruction.

        249. It must still be stated that the Russian attack will occur during the summer, in fact, starting from Arkhangelsk. Denmark will not be dragged into the war, due to the insignificance of this country.

        262. The aggressors from the East will force the French Army to join their military forces and lead a war of conquest against the northern countries of Europe, invading and conquering Sweden and Norway. Subsequently, these northern countries will be annexed by Russia.

        263. Military forces will also attack Finland, whereby many will be killed and an enormous destruction will be caused, after which the complete dissolution of the country will occur and the Russian forces will settle in it for a very long time.

        272. America and Russia will have the most terrible weapons of mass destruction at their disposal—a fact which is already the case to a certain extent today—and will clash with violent force against each other at that time of conflict, whereby Canada will also be dragged into this conflict.

        273. The source of this conflict will substantiate the Russian attack on the American State of Alaska and against Canada.

        286. Yet the misery on Earth will continue, as two terrible civil wars will break out in America, whereby one will follow the other.

        287. Afterwards, the United States of America will break apart and deadly hostility will prevail among her, which then leads to the division into five different territories; and it cannot be prevented that sectarian fanatics will play a dictatorial role.

Now we have over 250 specific examples of already corroborated, error-free examples of prophetically accurate scientific, environmental, geopolitical, economic and medical information.

I suggest resisting the temptation to lob glib comments and, instead, pose thoughtful questions and challenges. I’ll do my best to respond with answers.

Across all categories there will be a wave of Ukie officers seeking to hedge, come to an accommodation, ease out of harm’s way or just plain defect. Who can blame them? It’s not like many of the apparatus actually believed in all that crap the regime claimed to stand for. That stuff is for the chumperie. Since the writing of the future is plainly on the wall best to get clear of the impending rubble and find ways to come to terms with what will come to be.

This sort of conduct should be expected. Russia and the Donbass folks should and most likely are designing ways and means to fold the best of the ancien regime into the new. Lots of local mayors, police commandants etc. will be needed. Being seen to be reasonable about such will be viewed favourably by the citizenry. Any that know they won’t qualify will go west. Or to Hell. Looking forward to loud pronoucements of many defectors and what they reveal.

Yeah, michaelhorn812, personally I can do without the alien UFO theyflyblog horse manure myself. Like the really really off the wall Christian fundamentalist wackos predicting Armageddon taking place in the war to end all wars on the Golan Heights, after which Jesus arrives from heaven, and pushes the big green reset button.

Herbert W Armstrong and his son Garner Ted used to have a half-hour radio show in the 1960s called The Wonderful World Tomorrow which was good for a daily laugh, and Armageddon was their theme. The heathen hordes would finally meet their maker. Garner Ted had simply great hair which we all saw when he graduated to TV advertorial land in the 1970s! Likely could sell ice to the Inuit.

Father and son ran a place called Ambassador College where the dolts who believed them got edjumacated and paid good tuition money to run the mini empire, along with donations from lonely people who received their monthly magazine, written in deathless prose. A similar scheme is the way Western oligarchs have set up and run their own multi-million dollar think tanks where bought and paid for PhDs issue apparently academically sound economics “papers” about the divine right of trickle-down theory and the genetic superiority of rich people and how socialism is for prats. Gotta get ahead of the mob! The theyflyblog is for gawpers and Ripley’s Believe It or Not devotees, just from a different part of whackadoodle justification-of-nonsense land. There’s always someone out proselytizing some theory or another who thinks their mission in life is to “enlighten” and gather acolytes to mindlessly believe and have faith in utter hogwash without questioning the logic forever after.

Let’s get serious, shall we michaelhorn? You say “I suggest resisting the temptation to lob glib comments and, instead, pose thoughtful questions and challenges.” Why in hell would anyone waste time thinking up questions to pose? I’d rather consult a crystal ball. Away with you down your rabbithole and may the Mad March Hare treat you well.

The reason I read this blog is for the erudite writing when yalensis writes his own stuff from his own rather extensive knowledge of literature from many countries, and comes to a clever conclusion. One from a couple of weeks ago (Day 130) about body lice was a treasure, and I’m sorry I forgot to write in and compliment it at the time. Consider it done now, and apologies for the forgetfulness..

    • Ah yes, another tough-talking, know-nothing, very impressed with himself. Why bother to post your non-specific, unsubstantiated and false judgments?

The answer is because you wanted to quickly dispel any doubts; you’re precisely like the vast majority of people, especially in this country, the USA.

If you do wish to become better informed, read this, from an extremely well-qualified person, who spent a good part of his life…protecting the safety of this country:

Joe Tysk ret. USAF OSI/Dept. of Defense Investigator/Case Supervisor Concludes Billy Meier UFO Case Real

And this, from a US astronaut:

US Astronaut: Billy Meier UFO Photos “Absolutely authentic”

Both men served this country at high levels. They weren’t posting comments on blogs under screen names. As a know-it-all-know-nothing perhaps you’d like to tell us where they were wrong.

You won’t pose questions because you’re not interested in actual answers. Like most people, you suffer from your own brand of normalcy bias, one of the factors contributing to the overall impotence that afflicts most people.

It’s far easier for you to try to take a swipe at someone you don’t know, who came here in peace, to share invaluable information than to, for a moment, actually…think.

    • Wowsers. I checked out that site, which I had totes been unaware of. Another way that The Man has been keeping us in the dark. It turns out that everything I though was real and true has been a lie!!! There’s later after layer of conspiracies being put out by Them, and only Billy Meier is revealing the truth. Especially about things that fly.

Along those lines, michaelhorn812, with your extensive, citation-filled knowledge of all that flyblogging stuff, do you think that Billy knows that BIRDS AREN’T REAL! They’re flying robots — created by the government after They killed all the real birds — so that would be up Billy’s alley. After I discovered the Truth About So-Called “Birds” being machines sent to spy on us, I thought it was a secret plot by HUMANS. Which didn’t make a lot of sense, really. But if the alleged “birds” were engineered by immensely talented aliens, I could totally get behind that.

Everything starts to make sense now, Bukko. I live in this block of flats, and there are always these big black crows hanging around and standing on guard. Both in the inner courtyard and the outer parking spaces. Mostly they perch up on the roofs. When I leave my flat to go to my car, they sit there and watch me, occasionally squawking and sending coded signals to each other. They notice everything that goes on, all the comings and goings of the residents.
They make special note whenever I take my car through the wash, and once it’s spanking clean, they make sure to poop on it when I get back. Which raises the question: how cunningly have they build these bird-robots, that they even simulate pooping!
