On Holiday

Dear Readers:

Just a quick note.  I am going away on holiday for a couple of weeks, to a place where internet is spotty.  I may be able to respond to comments, but not sure if I will able to post any new content, until I get back.

As a result, I will skip my usual post-month closing post which I would normally write on September 1.  But don’t worry – I just checked my stats and they are pretty good, number of distinct visitors already went up in August as compared to July!

On October 1, I will publish a double-month accounting for the stats, including both August and September.  In the meantime, please don’t worry, I will start posting new content as soon as I return from vacation.

All the best to you, and PEACE!

Sincerely yours, yalensis

Have a great vacation and come back refreshed for more fascinating translations!

If you do requests for when you get back, I would like to read stories of Russian agriculture, cheerful tales of tractors, milkmaids and bountiful harvests!

Thank you, Terje! I am still on holiday, but have internet back now (at least temporarily!), was in “radio blackout” for over 3 days! I appreciate your comment and will attempt to accommodate your request when I get back. Tractors and milkmaids are awesome, for sure!

Echoing Terje M, have a great holiday and enjoy yourself – you’ve done so much to earn some much needed rest and relaxation!

Oh, thank you, Jen! I am definitely getting relaxation. I have been “out of the loop” and just learned today, to my shock, about Zakharchenko’s assassination. I am very sad, but what a brave man he was.
