For Pamela Anderson fans, here is a story from the Russian online newspaper VZGLIAD:
For those of you who have been following the lusciously beautiful Pamela – in her capacity as Animal Rights activist.
The former “Baywatch” star visited the Primorye region of Russia, where she met with Sergei Donskoi, head of the Ecology Ministry of the Russian Federation.
Donskoi and Anderson discussed issues of ecology, nature, and preservation of endangered species.
Recall that Pamela was invited to visit Russia after she made an impassioned plea to the Russian government, to help save whales.
Pamela visted the Primorye region last week, in the wake of Typhoon “Goni”. The typhoon brought floods and mudslides to this region of Russia. Several zoo animals had died as a result. Prosecutors have blamed some of the animal curators of neglect, and there will be legal actions taken.
Meanwhile, 39 out of 42 animals had to be evacuated from the zoo called “Green Island”.
Pamela learned about all of this during her visit, and visited one of the rescued lions, whose name is “Grey”.
